Please view the attached newsletter for a range of information about what is going on in the life of the church this week.
I’d particularly like to draw your attention to a few items:-
Tuesday 14th November 10.30am
Eat Well to Age Well – with FREE LUNCH
Our popular healthy living series continues this Tuesday, with cooking demonstration and tips on how to lead healthier lives, followed by a tasty nutritious lunch (there’s no charge thanks to our great sponsors).
No booking is necessary, just turn up, tell your friends & neighbours!
Wednesday 15th November 7.30pm
Deanery Synod at St John’s Church, North End Road
A chance to meet with other Christians from across Hammersmith & Fulham Deanery. Open to all. The main topic will be presented by Hannah Widows from “Make Lunch” – a charity that provides cooked lunches for school children during the holidays by using school and church hall kitchens and local volunteers. It is a big success especially with all those hungry children who are entitled to free lunch at school and not during the holidays.
Christmas shopping online?
Don’t forget to log into www.easyfundraising.org.uk first!
It’s an easy way to give to God’s work at St Andrew’s, at NO cost to yourself! Each time you plan to shop online, login first to www.easyfundraising.org.uk and type in St Andrew’s Church West Kensington as your chosen charity. Check if the retailer you want is listed (most shops are signed up to the scheme) and then shop away! The retailer will donate a percentage to your charity – and it costs you nothing! So go on, what’s stopping you???
SHOWER GEL, SPRAY DEODORANT, SHAMPOO
Wanted! To replenish supplies for the homeless project. Please place the above items in the homeless box by the front door.
