Most of us could really benefit by making simple changes to our health and as recent studies show having a healthier life is easier when you have support.
Go to free talks and get health checks, advice and support on health issues like how to prevent diabetes, healthy hearts and mental health followed by a diabetic-friendly free lunch at St Andrew’s Church Fulham. Thanks to a joint project sponsored by the council and local businesses involving local charities, health professionals, and church and community volunteers.
Drop into next free talk at 10.15am – 12.30pm on Tuesday 21 March at St Andrew’s Star Café, Greyhound Road, West Kensington, W14 9SA. (There’s disabled access and facilities). Many of you will know Pippa from Star Cafe and Nutritionist Sarah Green from our congregation. Come to Free Talk & Cooking Demonstration and get:

A friendly and relaxed space for local people
It’s proving popular with the local community from Fulham, Hammersmith, West Kensington and Barons Court including older people and Carers as well as families looking for healthier meal ideas. It’s a great opportunity to have a chat about any health concerns as one Carer explained. “My wife’s got dementia and diabetes. I feel really supported here”.
Thanks to our supporting partners
MIND, My Time Active, Healthy Hearts, NHS Turning Point, Diabetes UK and Bishop Creighton House and staff from North End Road Medical Centre. Sponsored by H&F Council and family butchers HG Walters. Thanks to coordinator Pippa Grive, Nutritionist Sarah Green and Reverend Lesley Bilinda from St Andrew’s Church.
