Welcome to Andrew Brown!
We offer a warm St Andrew’s welcome Andrew Brown, an ordinand (training to be a priest) at Ripon College, Cuddesdon, joining us for his summer placement for a month. The month will fly by, so please take the opportunity to invite Andrew for a meal or coffee, and help him get to know St Andrew’s and the community around.
Afternoon tea @ the Vicarage
29 th July 2-5pm
While there’s still life and colour in the garden (hopefully!), you’re all invited to pop in to the Vicarage for a cuppa and a cake.
Trip to Rippingale Station
Saturday 19th August
Coming soon… a summer trip to Rippingale (near Peterborough) – the new home of our Marc Maitland.
Marc lives in a former railway station, complete with railway engines, in a lovely village in Lincolnshire. Marc has arranged a coach, leaving St Andrew’s at 9am and returning approx. 7pm. Sign up sheet in café. Cost £15 including lunch at The Bull!
WEDNESDAY HELPER WANTED!
Our Wednesday Songs n Stories group for toddlers has become so popular that we are brimming full each week! This means it’s busy in the café, serving meals, washing up etc and we would be glad of an extra helper. If you could spare 2 hours on a Wednesday (11am-1pm) we would be VERY grateful! Please speak to Lemmy or Revd Lesley
