Response to Covid-19
In light of the Government guidance around non-essential contact, the Archbishops of Canterbury and York have issued advice that public worship is suspended until further notice.
Churches should be open where possible but with no public worship services taking place. Prayers can be said by clergy and ministers on behalf of everyone and churches should consider ways of sharing this with the wider community. See more below on digital resources that are under development and currently available.
- Revd Anne and myself will lead a eucharist each Sunday at 10am. This will not be open to others to join (and therefore not public worship) but it will be live-streamed on our church facebook page (St Andrews Church, Fulham). Our youth worker Jacob will be filming the entire service, so you will be able to join with us live – though as it’s just the 2 of us we promise we won’t attempt to sing the hymns!!
- During the service we will consecrate sufficient bread to share with as many of you as would like it.
- The church will then be open for anyone to come and pray, and one of us will be available throughout the day to distribute the bread to whoever comes and would like it. (we will let you know exact times when we have arranged this). If Sunday is not possible for you, then please call one of us and arrange a time with us.
- If you are not able to come to church, please let us know, and we can come to you.
